This crochet pattern is written in English, using standard American crochet language, and also available in German. The PDF document can be downloaded right after purchase and consists of 7 pages with lots and lots of pictures and illustration. It leads you through every step of the proces until you have created your own little monkey.

It does NOT give you the finished product though.

The pattern has been designed by me. No artificial intelligence has been used in any step of the creation. All the required information needed to complete this toy is listed in the written pattern. The monkey is worked in spirals, and you can use any wool and hook size you wish.

The pattern requires basic crochet skills and is suited for confident beginners.

The following techniques are used:

• single crochet stitch
• chain stitch
• increases with 2 & 3 stitches
• decreases with 2 stitches
• slip stitch
• back loop only

The size of the finished monkey is about 16 cm in height. However, this depends on the type of yarn, the tension, the hook size and the preferred technique.

• Crochet hook (size 3.5 mm)
• Yarn: Lettlopi beige and brown, but any yarn can be used
• Fibre fill
• Security eyes (size 5 mm)
• Pipe cleaner or wire (optional)
• Scissors
• Embroidery needle
