The FREYA shawl, made in the same intricate faux cable pattern as the FREYA sweater (and similar to the FREYA headband and socks), is a beautiful shawl in the tip-to-tip construction. It can be worked in any yarn and size. You can make a full triangular shape or a straight center part for a small shawl or long scarf. GAUGE
It is recommended to cast on the shawl directly with your chosen yarn and matching needle size. After a few centimeters/inches, you can wash and block or steam-block the shawl to see if you like the fabric.
24 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches) in basic cable pattern (BCP), measured after blocking

SIZES
You can adjust the size to your liking and make the shawl in any yarn weight, gauge and matching needle size. You can create a triangular shawl or a shawl with a straight center part.
Finished length: 145 cm (57 inches) / finished width: 25 cm (9.75 inches)

Circular needles to match your yarn, 4 mm (US 6) recommended, with a length of at least 60 cm (24 inches)

YARN
Bohei Schön bei Fuss (fingering; 85% wool, 15% nylon; 400 m (436 yds) per 100 g) in a one-of-a-kind colorway, held together with The Fibre Co. Meadow (heavy lace; 40% wool, 25% llama, 20% silk, 15% linen; 498 m (545 yds) per 100 g) in colorway Purlslane.

METERS NEEDED
