This Beanie can be made with any yarn you want for any size from Newborn to adult. It is gauge swatch free, you just need a measuring tape. But I reccomend using worsted or bulky yarn. How much yarn you will need depends on the size you want to make and the yarn you use. The thinner your yarn is, the more you will need. I used red heart super saver retro stripes for a womena small size and needed about 1 skein.
The pattern includes written instructions for special stitches and also links and QR codes for videos for the special stitches. It includes a printer friendly version with as little pictures as necessary.
You will of course need a crochet hook matching your yarn. Pom pom and stitch markers are optional.
