Key storage frogkey crochet pattern

This is a written crochet pattern for a key storage cover. The Frogkey is no sew and the pattern includes helpful pictures. You will need light weight yarn or similar yarn to match the gauge swatch 5cm x 5cm (2 inch x 2 inch) = 9,5 sc and 10 rows. Measured without blocking. (rows are more important).
It is ok, if the gauge swatch doesn’t match exactly, but it should be at least close, otherwise your keys may not match into the frog. It is better if your gauge swatch is a little bit bigger than mine. (for example, you have 9 rows instead of 10)

The pattern is suitable for beginners, but the basic crochet stitches should already be known. These are not explained separately in the instructions. These are written instructions.

The frog is approximately 10 cm high and 9 cm wide. It is suitable for standard keys

Light weight yarn or similar thickness in the colors green, red and pink. I used Hobbii rainbow cotton 8/8. Suitable crochet hook to achieve the stitch gauge of 5cmx5cm = 9.5 single crochet stitches x 10 rows. I used 3.5 mm. Scissors, needle, wiggle eyes (1.5 cm), bead (1 cm), stitch markers (at least 2 pieces, 4 pieces recommended)
