Crochet Pattern | RAUREIF Beanie | 8 sizes | beginner-friendly

This pattern is a no sew, one piece pattern, worked in rounds.

Available in 8 sizes, from baby to large adult, this crochet beanie is the perfect accessory for the whole family. It’s so versatile, and with its unisex design and adjustable sizing, you can make it for anyone!
Holding yarns together makes this pattern work up fast and also creates a super warm beanie that’s perfect for cold winter days!

It’s the perfect project for those who are new to crocheting hats.

LEVEL:
easy

You should be able to follow detailed written instructions.
There are links to YouTube tutorials for front post and back post double crochets.

WHAT YOU WILL GET:
The pattern (8 pages, PDF) includes:

  • very detailed step-by-step instructions & additional tipps
  • photos
  • charts & written instructions
  • (external) video links for special stitches/techniques
  • very clear and structured pattern, professional layout

This instructions include 8 sizes, from children to adults.
Choosing the correct size requires measuring the head circumference, which should be done directly on the head.
Note that this beanie is quite stretchy so make it a bit smaller than the head so that it will fit snuggly without being too baggy.

YARN IDEAS
I held two strands of yarn together (see details in the instrutions). Choose merino or alpaca yarn for a more squishy fabric or a slouchy beanie. Try using different colors of yarn to create stripes or color blocks. It will also look great in self striping or variegated yarns. Instead of holding yarns together you can use a aran/chunky yarn.

Yardage: Total yarn usage will depend on the yarn you use (fiber content, ply, etc.), your personal gauge, and any modifications you may make.

NOTIONS
5.0 mm (H/8) crochet hook (or size to obtain gauge) | removable stitch marker | tape measure | tapestry needle | scissors | optional: pom pom and label

    Super Tuch
