Octopus Hat- child size- Crochet pattern- detailed PDF format

Product description

A crocheted Octopus Slouchy hat pattern in a child's size with unlimited avenues of color expression. Inspired by Natalie Allen-TheTwistedHatter. I've changed, modified, added to & incorporated my original ideas to make a children's option by reducing the size of the hat and arms, changing the stitch pattern of the sack, creating actual cup-like suckers, adding a more defined/detailed outlining of the arms/brim & vibrant jewel-tone eyes. The Slouchy part of the hat (sack/mantle) is light-weight and can be filled with a couple wadded up plastic grocery bags, stuffing/wadding or your own hair/dreads.

Skills Required / What You'll Receive

Terminology: U.S. terms
Hooks: U.S. sizes
Measurement: Imperial measurement
I consider this pattern an intermediate skill level, but totally doable for an enthusiatic beginner. Pattern is very detailed with many pictures and tons of notes with little tips, tricks & helpful hints to guide you through the process. Pattern also includes a very thorough Glossary, Definitions & Key to Abbreviations section that lists and defines all the stitches used throughout.
