Octopus Lovey Blanket /Blankie /Snuggler -crochet pattern PDF

Product description

This crochet Octopus Lovey is waiting for someone special to cuddle!
Perfect for hugging, a child's arm fits perfectly around the neck.
The head can be used as a pillow if holding on to it lying down with the
entirety acting like a body pillow.
I'm very tempted to make myself an adult sized, that's how comfy it is. LOL
(can you imagine one made with super bulky or velvet/velour yarn?)
Suckers are optional. They are more complicated, and a lot more time
consuming, but really make a fabulous detail if so motivated & skilled.

Skills Required / What You'll Receive

I consider this an INTERMEDIATE skill level project, with enough variation to keep an experienced hooker from getting bored, but not so hard that a very motivated, less skilled crocheter shouldn't take the challenge.
The PDF formatted pattern has detailed, easy-to-read instructions with plenty of photos to help visually as well as extensive glossary to help with stitches or stitch combos.
There are many notes in red with tips & reminders to help you on the tricky parts.

Size Information

Pattern uses U.S. Terms & Imperial measurements
The original lovey uses a true #4 worsted weight yarn for the main body,
arms & underarms and ends up being a toddler, huggable size, but the
smaller the gauge yarn & hook reduces the overall size, and vice versa.
Measurements are approximately 26"-30" from top of head to tips of arms using #4 worsted weight.
Measurements are approximately 22"-26" from top of head to tips of arms using #4 light worsted such as Caron Simply Soft.

Materials List

"H" 5mm hook for body, "G" 4mm hook for suckers, "0" steel or "D" 3.25mm hook for eyes

4 worsted weight yarn for body

3 DK or light worsted for suckers

Embroidery floss/thread or similar weight for eyes
Stuffing
Yarn needle
Scissors

By all means, sell the finished product if you desire, but please do not re-sell or publish my pattern as your own.
If you post some pics online to show your lovely work, I would appreciate a tag, link or information on where to find the pattern in the description. It would really help me out.
