Reptiles are not exactly my favourite animals. Many are fascinated by that species, as for myself I’m scared of them. Nevertheless I thought it was a shame that my Amiland did not have a representative from this world, that’s why I decided to design a snake with such a personality I could not help loving it.
Tommy turned out to be an elegant snake with his little bow tie, the one that wins your heart straight away and makes you feel at ease … even with a snake around, do not you agree? Read more »
Freddy was an expected addition to my amigurumi family. I drew his sketch without a precise idea, next thing I know is that he was smiling at me with his funny “look”.
I could not resist and make him straightaway.
It is the perfect to finish off some yarn leftovers…. have fun at trying different colour combos. Read more »
Time flies and Mary's Amiland celebrates its 3rd birthday!

I feel gifted to be able to create my own amigurumis, such an enjoyable art.
I hope you are having fun at following my journey in this fantastic world! Read more »
I always say that I’m back to childhood thanks to amigurumi. Bubble is born from a sketch of mine where I gave freedom to my fantasy. She was supposed to be a monster but she turned out to be a sweet weird thing instead. She has also a fiancé that I will make one of these days…

I tried puffy eyes and spent countless hours on her the tiny mouth. I made the thumbs as I crocheted the hands, I discovered that it is much fun than attaching them later. At the end I thought something was missing so I added a pair of curls on the top of her head.
For a small project so many things to try, don’t you think? I love my weird thing! Read more »
Matilda Cat The Ami
I have had the idea to design a chubby cat on my mind for a long time, eventually I decided to give it a go. I meant to design a male cat, but Matilda came along instead and I could not force myself to change a thing. She is such a lovely sweet cat, the one you would never stop petting. Read more »
This is the first time that I have ventured into a non animal amigurumi. H-4WI character was thought to be a cheerful friend for our little ones. The beauty of creativeness is that everything is allowed, so robots do have personality in my fantastic world. H-4WI is a bit clumsy, but such a joyful thing, that I’m sure it will find a place in your heart.
His name comes from the sound of its letters when spelled out, H-4WI. For some reason I thought it was a nice sound to listen to. Read more »
