INSTRUCTIONS
This cap is worked in the round on double-pointed needles. It can be made in different sizes by varying the yarn and needle size, or pattern repeats.
HAT
Cast on 96 stitches. Join for knitting in the round, being careful not to twist, and place marker.
Rnd 1-13: *K2, P2* till the end of Rnd.
Rnd 14: *K2,yo* till the end of Rnd (144 sts)
Rnd 15-17: *K4, P4* till the end of Rnd
Rnd 18: P1, *K4, P4* till the last 7 sts, K4, P3
Rnd 19-21: *K4, P4* till the end of Rnd
Rnd 22: P2, *K4, P4* till the last 6 sts, K4, P2
Rnd 23-25: *K4, P4* till the end of Rnd
Rnd 26: P3, *K4, P4* till the last 5 sts, K4, P1

Cut yarn, leaving a long tail, and with blunt needle thread tail through remaining stitches, slipping stitches off the needles. Pull tight to gather hole closed, and sew to inside of hat. Weave in all ends.
CHERRY
Rnd 1: Using a hook 2,5 mm, chain 2 stitches, 6 sc in second st.
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each of next 6 sts.
Rnd 3: *2sc in next st, sc in next st *, repeat from*to* 6 times (18 Sts)
Rnds 4-7: sc in each of next 18 sc.
Rnd 8: *sc2tog, sc in next st*, repeat from*to* 6 times (12 Sts).
Rnd 9: *sc2tog*, repeat from*to* 6 times (6 Sts),
Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing cherry to hat.
FINISHING
Sew cherry to the upper part of hat. Crochet one Rnd in crab stitch all around hat. Sew some beads on in random spots so they look like long sprinkles.
