The Toe of the St. Nicholas Boot:
After completing the sole, the toe of the boot can be worked. Follow these steps to create the distinctive shape of the St. Nicholas boot.

Toe Hold the sole with the toe facing forward. Find the center, count 27 stitches to the left and right, and mark both spots. Crochet one single crochet in each stitch until the second mark on the left, then chain 12 and continue working at the first mark. This will form two parts: the toe and the shaft. Continue working in spiral rounds.
