SUPPLIES YOU NEED
Before you begin, make sure you have the following materials:
cotton yarn (e.g. Schachenmayr Catania 125m/50g) in four colors: green, beige, white and yellow, a bit of black for embroidery, crochet hook 2,5 mm, Polyester fiberfill or any stuffing material of your choice, 2 black beads or safety eyes, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends and sewing parts together, 3 buttons.
Using different materials and hook size to what is recommended may alter the final appearance of your amigurumi.

TIPS
- Do not join rounds, work in a continuous spiral
- This pattern doesn´t include any specific stitch tutorials
- Use a stitch marker or piece of yarn to keep track of the last stitch in each round
- All stitches are worked into both loops, unless stated otherwise in the pattern
- When filling with polyester stuffing, pull apart each large chunk into many smaller chunks. This ensures an even distribution of firmness within the amigurumi
- Amigurumi can be made in any desired colors.
Seamless way of changing color when working in the round
Pick up the new color at the end of the round: inset your hook into the stitch, yarn over the new color and pull through the stitch and the loop on your hook to complete the stitch.
To make a magic ring
- Loop the thread twice around your middle finger
- Put the hook under both loops, pull the yarn under the loops and hook the thread again
- Pull the thread through the new loop. The first crochet stitch is ready!
- Repeat the number of times needed.
- Pull the inner threads to tighten the ring.

SHIFT STITCH
Sometimes during the work of the spiral amigurumi, you need to keep the work symmetrically. As work tends to twist to the right you need to adjust the position of the marker periodically (beginning of the round).
Shift stitch is an extra stitch you work at the end of a round to make your work look symmetrical. If you notice that the marker moves right, you need to work one extra stitch at the end of the round and move marker for one stitch (now 2nd stitch of the round becomes first). This is the shift stitch.
The shift stitch is not included in the round description. To check if it’s time to work shift stitch fold your work in half and check if marker still goes straight or use a yarn that marks a straight line.
You may think this is an increase, but it isn’t. This way you don’t increase or decrease the number of stitches. The stitches count remains the same.
BODY

Fasten off, close the crotch seam: sew the middle 5 stitches together.
Hide all yarn ends.

Make tassels and attach them to the pants.
Tassels are so fun to make. It's as simple as wrapping yarn and tying knots.
You´ll need:
a piece of cardboard that is 1/2 inch longer than the desired finished length of your tassel
yarn
yarn needle
Wrap the yarn round your piece of cardboard until the yarn reaches the required thickness. I wrapped the yarn around 10 times, but you can keep wrapping until you have your required thickness. Remember that the yarn on both sides of your template will all be included in the tassel.
Fasten off the yarn at the same end you started winding. Insert a shorter piece of the same yarn into the loops you have created at the opposite end to your cut yarn and tie it securely around the looped yarn. This is the top of your tassel.
Slide the loops off your piece of cardboard. Take another piece of yarn and position it about 2cm (or as required) from the top of your tassel. Leaving a tail, wrap it tightly around the top of the tassel as many times as you wish.
Use a yarn needle to secure the wrap, making sure you weave in both ends.
Cut through the loops at the bottom of the tassels. Trim the ends.
Ready!
ASSEMBLY
Since all the elements of your doll are crocheted, it´s time to sew them together. Use a blunt sweing needle.

Mark where you want the eyes to be with pins, place them in their right place on the head and using the yarn with the distance of 6-8 stitches left sew them to the head of your amigurumi. Be sure to step back and take a look to make sure they are even.
Using beige yarn embroider nose and mouth. Proceed to the smile if desired. You can also add eyelashes. Weave in all ends.

Sew the wig cap on.

Sew the stem and the leaf to the hat.
STRAP (2x)
Work with yellow yarn.

For the strap chain 20 stitches, 1 hdc in the 3rd stitch from the hook and each of next 14 stitches, chain 2 stitches, skip the next 2 stitches, hdc in the next stitch.
Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing. Work the second strap the same way.
Attach straps as shown on the pic. Attach two buttons to the pants. Weave in all ends.
