The bags are made using the tapestry crochet technique and are worked in spiral rounds. It is assumed that you already have basic knowledge of tapestry crochet, as this pattern builds on that foundation and does not explain the basics in detail. Therefore, you should be familiar with colour-changing techniques and know how to incorporate unused colours into your work by crocheting over them and carrying them inside your project

Close the bag with a slip stitch (SS) and weave in all the ends carefully. Then make a cord approximately 50–60 cm long, for example, by crocheting, braiding, or twisting, and thread it through the row with the chain stitches.

If you are working from the chart, repeat the pattern twice in the row and work all rounds in spiral rounds. In round 31, work 2 single crochet (sc), 1 chain (ch), 2 single crochet (sc), 1 chain (ch), and repeat this until the end of the round to create the holes for the cord.

If you are working from the chart, repeat the pattern twice per round and crochet all rounds in spirals. In round 21, alternate between 2 single crochets (sc), 1 chain (ch), 2 single crochets (sc), 1 chain (ch), and continue this until you reach the end of the round to create the holes for the cord.
