The little mouse

All parts are worked with 2 knitting needles.
First Row - Purl.
The first row you knit from start to end in purl.
Second Row – garter stitch (K).
You work every ST with a garter stitch.
So you have to follow that pattern till the end: the purl rows are odd numbers (1. row, 3rd row etc.) and the even rows are the garter stitch rows (2nd row, 4th row, 6th row and so on).

Assembly

Sew the body together from bottom to top, stuffing in between. Leave an opening at the top for the wooden disc and split pin.

Insert the cotter pin fastening.

To keep the head well on the neck, a wooden washer and the neck should be approximately of the same width.

Put a metal washer on the cotter pin, then a wooden one.

Carefully insert the cotter pin fastening and finish the crocheting. The cotter pin goes outside as it is shown in the photo below.

Sew the head together from bottom to top in the same way as the body, until approx. the middle.

Attach the head to the body,

Stretch the cotter pin from the body through the beginning of crocheting the head inside, put on a wooden washer, then a metal one, bend the cotter pin and tighten it well with pliers. To keep the head from hanging out, I took for the head a little larger wooden washer than for the neck.

Find the markers for the tightening of the eyes and mouth in the 27 and 38 rounds.

Insert a needle near the marker 3 (38 round) (for the right eye from the right side, for the left eye from the left side) and take it out near the first marker (round 27), take the eye, insert a needle in a hole for sewing and return back to marker 3 (round 38).

Make the same with the second eye.

Insert a needle near the marker 3 (38 round) and take it out near the marker 2 (round 27), take the eye, insert a needle in a hole for sewing and return back to marker 3 (round 38).

Tighten the threads, the cheeks should become more visible. Make knots, hide the threads.

So we get the hollows for the eyes and the corners of the mouth.
