Free Cochet Patten for Mug Cosy

MATERIAL

crochet hook 3 mm, yarn, 1 button, polyester fiber fill stuffing.

SIZE

for the mug ca. 7 cm Ø und 9 cm high

ABBREVIATIONS

ch =chain

st= stitch

sc =single crochet

hdc = half double crpchet

sl st= slip stitch

dec = decrease stitch (two single crochets together)

inc = increase stitch (two single crochets into one stitch)

Rnd= round

INSTRUCTIONS

chain 18 sts, 1 hdc in the 3rd st from hook and each of next 15 sts, ch 2, turn.

25 rows in hdc, working into the back loop.

All around work 1 Rnd in sc´s., making a button hole (chain 5 sts, skip 3 stitches, sc in the next st).

HEART

Rnd 1: chain 7 sts

Rnd 2: sc in the 2nd st from the hook and each of next 5 sts, ch 1, turn.

Rnd 3: sc in each of next 6 sts, ch 1, turn.

Rnd 4: sc in each of next 3 sts, ch 1, turn

Rnd 5: sc in each of next 3 sts, ch 1, turn

Rnd 6: sc in each of next 2 sts, 3 sc in the next st, sc in the next st, sl st in the next st;

don´t turn, continue crocheting: sc in eahc of next 2 sts, 3 sc in the next st, sc in the  next st, 2 sc in the next st;

sc in each of next 4 sts, 3 sc in the next st, 

sc in each of next 4 sts, sl st.

Crochet one more heart. Jpin both parts with the help of sc´s.

Sew the button and the heart on.
