Pendant with Christmas socks - New Year Festive Brooche

Materials:
– alize forever 50 gr /300 m
– 1,25 mm crochet hook
– a sewing needle, a pair of scissors, small bells, blank brooch base tray/ safety pin

Abbreviations:

ch – chain

sc – single crochet

inc – increase

dec - decrease, two single crochets together

Lollipop (white & red colours, make one of each)

1. Crochet 6 sc in a Magic Ring

2 – 36. 6 sc

Bind off. Leave a small piece of thread for further sewing.

Make s spiral as shown on the picture. Sew the two elements together.

Sock 2 pcs

Starting with green colour yarn

1. Crochet 6 sc in a Magic Ring

2. 6 inc  = 12 sc

3. (1 inc , 1 sc ) х 6 = 18 sc

4. (1 inc , 2 sc ) х 6 = 24 sc

5 – 7. 24 sc

Change to red colour.

8 – 15. 24 sc

Change back to green colour.

1. 2 sc , ch , turn

2 – 7. 12 sc , ch , turn

Sew the sides together as shown.

Attach red colour yarn to the side of the heel. Continue crocheting in rounds.

1. 14 sc  on the heel, 12 sc  = 24 sc

2. 24 sc

3. 1dec , 10 sc , 1 dec , 10 sc  = 22

4 – 10. 22 sc

Ch 10 at the centre back of the sock.

Bind off. Leave a small piece of thread for further sewing.

You may add some decorative stitches with black colour thread to make a patch.

Make the second sock starting with red colour yarn first. Alternatively you may use other colours as shown on the pictures below.

Attach the socks to the safety pin.

Add the lollypop.

You may also want to add some jingle bells and snowflakes.
