The main part of the tea cosy is very plain, the whole focus of this tea cosy is the dragon. The black of the main cosy makes the colours of the dragon pop.
Chinese dragons are long and thin and teapots are round and dumpy, so the only obvious solution was to have the dragon circling around the teapot.
I love the face of the dragon with his piercing eyes and eyebrows and moustache. The end result is a functional and eye-catching tea cosy that will add a touch of Asian flair to teatimes.

This cosy is knitted flat on two needles.
The tea cosy fits a medium sized teapot that covers a Teapot that holds 6 to 8 cups or 2 pints.
