Marcel Headband with Cables Knitting Pattern

Christmas - everyone gets together, celebrates and enjoys themselves. A walk in the freezing cold every now and then ... a headband is ideal for keeping your ears nice and warm.

I designed this headband for my youngest son Marcel. It is a headband with two identical cable patterns that are only shifted against each other.

The headband is knitted transversal. Therefore it can be easily adjusted to larger head circumferences. Knitted in virgin wool it will be the perfect headband for colder days.

Skill Level: Advanced
The knitting pattern is a PDF file with 7 pages with detailed instructions, the cable pattern is included as chart and written instruction.
You should know how to cast on and bind off, how to knit and purl, make cables and work with sst (selvage stitch).

Materials: „Merino 4 Us“ by Rosários4 (100% Merino Wool Superwash, approx. 125 m – 136 yd/50g): 1 skein in color 12 petrol
Needles:
1 set of 4.00 mm (US 6) straight needles
1 additional double point needle (help-needle), also size 4.00 mm (US 6)
Gauges:
22 stitches, 34 rows to 10 cm knitted with 4.00 mm (US 6) needles - stockinette stitch, blocked
Additional:
1 wool needle for sewing together
1 pair of scissors for cutting the thread remnants
