Galadriel is a rectangular shawl which is knit from a central provisional cast-on in both directions . It is topped off with a wonderful leaf-edging. To give the lacy shawl stability, beads are placed at both ends of it.

Worked in an ivory color this shawl can be the highlight to a bridal dress, or in an elegant black or burgundy the perfect eye-catching accessory to an evening dress.

• approx 700 - 800 meters [765 - 874 yds] of laceweight to fingering weight yarn

• a piece of very thin wire or dental floss to bring the beads onto the stitch
