The decorative lace pattern of Lonicera Stole reminds one of the leaves of vines, like honeysuckle, or, to give it its botanical name, Lonicera.
The Lonicera stole pattern contains a knitting chart as well as a written pattern. It is a simple knit and as such is eminently suitable as your first lace project. Experienced knitters might consider it as a relaxing project to mindlessly knit on the side whilst making something more complex.
You can knit the rectangular shape in any desired size, as a stole or a scarf. This pattern includes detailed additional instructions, making it easy to change the size or decide the correct amount of yarn to buy for your desired project.
Furthermore, there is a workshop on how to calculate the stitch number for different yarn weights.
For those who prefer to crochet: you will find the Hedera Stole in my shop, the crochet version of the Lonicera Stole.
Very detailed pattern with charts as well as written pattern for different sizes and yarns, 8 pages with many photos, plus 3 easy to follow photo tutorials on special knitting stitches.
