This Christmas tea cosy of pigs in their blankets has the pigs knitted and sewn on first and then the blankets are put on after.

The blanket is knitted in strips and then the long strips are sewn together, so there are no charts or intarsia to knit, it's really simple. Some of the squares on the blanket have also been embroidered to add interest. The colours of the blankets are bright and Christmas inspired, but you could use any colours you like. It's great for yarn stash busting.
