A warm beanie "Elisa" with a cable braid pattern for the whole family (in knitted look)! The hat can also be crocheted hanging down, if you crochet the middle about 5 cm longer than for the sporty hat. The PDF crochet pattern consists of illustrated pattern for crocheting a winter hat with the cable braid pattern, the hat looks like it's knitted. This hat can be crocheted for both children and adults.
Tip: If you want a warmer hat, crochet a cuff that folds upward (explained in the tutorial).
For the cable braid pattern I made a video with the explanation. It was uploaded as an additional file to the PDF file. With this video, crocheting the cable stitch pattern works out much easier.
Attention! The beanie is crocheted partially with the sl st. Crocheting with the sl st, inserted either in the back loops only or in the front loops only of the previous row, requires a little practice. Before you start crocheting, practice crocheting with an old thick wool (wool scraps). After a few practices, crochet with sl st will work out very quickly. Otherwise, crochet very loosely, take the crochet hook 0.5 to 1 size larger than recommended for your wool.
