Cat Keychain Kitty Crochet Pattern Amigurumi Animal Bag Ornament Christmas

This pattern (US terminology, amigurumi style) will guide you to crochet an adorable Kitty Cat Keychain, as shown in pictures, made using sport weight cotton yarn and crochet hook C (2.5 mm). You can use this keychain in different ways; as Christmas tree ornament, purse / back pack charm, rear view mirror charm, bookmark charm or hairband decoration.

Finished size will be approx. 6.3” (16 cm) tall, including loop and tassel. The cat head alone will be approx. 2.4” (6 cm) tall. When made using indicated yarn and size hook, it will fit right into the palm of your hand. If you wish to make a larger or smaller version of this keychain, you can just use thicker or thinner yarn with a matching size crochet hook. If so, you will need different amounts of yarn and different size safety eyes than stated in the materials list.

This pattern is also suitable for wool or acrylic yarn. SM Schachenmayr Catania Solids was used to create the keychain in the pictures. Because you will only need small amounts of yarn for a keychain like this, this is a lovely project to use your remnants of yarn.
