Crochet Pattern Keychain Elephant Ornament Bag Charm Amigurumi Animal

Product description

This PDF crochet pattern (US terminology amigurumi style) will guide you to crochet an adorable Elephant Keychain, as shown in pictures, made using sport weight cotton yarn and crochet hook C (2.5 mm). You can use this keychain in different ways; as Christmas tree ornament, purse / back pack charm, rear view mirror charm, bookmark charm or hairband decoration.

Finished size will be approx. 4.7” (10 cm) tall, including loop. The elephant alone will be approx. 2.4” (6 cm) tall. When made using indicated yarn and size hook, it will fit right into the palm of your hand. If you wish to make a larger or smaller version of this keychain, you can just use thicker or thinner yarn with a matching size crochet hook. If so, you will need different amounts of yarn and different size safety eyes than stated in the materials list.

This pattern is also suitable for wool or acrylic yarn. Schachenmayr Catania Solids was used to create the keychain in the pictures.
Because you will only need small amounts of yarn for a keychain like this, this is a lovely project to use your remnants of yarn. Parts in this pattern will be worked in continuous rounds, as well as in rows.

Skill level: intermediate.

Gauge: not important for this pattern, just crochet tight enough so the stuffing will not show through the stitches.

Enjoy crocheting!

Verstehst du was ich meine? :0)

Du hast also alles richtig gemacht!

Viel Spaß beim Häkeln! Liebe Grüße, Marjan.

I had English as the pattern download language but having paid for it, the pattern is in German. How do I get the English version please.

Hello Jacqui, thanks for the purchase! You may get the english version, if you return to the download page. But if that's not possible, I can send it over to you in an email. Please send me your email address in a pm, and I will send it as soon as I can!
Crazy Patterns has had a major update recently and I am not sure how all new new features work (or don't work....) I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Marjan.

I have a problem with sewing the elephant legs to keep them square. Would you put a youtube video tutorial ,please.
    • Millionbells Author monira-mogrin
Hi! Thanks for your purchase and message.
I'm sorry though, I cannot offer any video tutorials. Closing the inner part of the legs may not be that important, as long as the legs on the outside are together in the right shape. Most important when sewing the legs together, is to close the gap in the middle. I'm sure that you can do this! :-)
