Chameleon Amigurumi Animal Toy Jungle Reptile

Product description

This adorable chameleon loves to show his beatiful colors!

This PDF crochet pattern (US terminology) will guide you to crochet an adorable chameleon as shown in pictures, made using 8 ply / DK soft acrylic yarn and crochet hook E (3.5 mm).
Finished size will be approx. 9.4” (24 cm) long excluding tongue, and 5.1” (13 cm) tall. This pattern is also suitable for wool or cotton yarn.
Stylecraft Special DK was used to create the green chameleon in the pictures. Ice Yarns Magic Light was used to create the colored chameleon in the pictures.

The chameleon’s head, body and tail are crocheted together as 1 part.
Plastic canvas and chenille wire are used to give sturdiness and shape. These 2 materials are optional though, you can make the chameleon without these. The chameleon can be made, with or without the tongue, just as you like.

Gauge: not important for this pattern, just crochet tight enough so the stuffing will not show through the stitches.

Skill level: intermediate (for crocheting, as well as for pinning/sewing parts together)

Enjoy crocheting!
