This PDF crochet pattern describes in US terminology how to crochet a classic single cab transporter tissue box cover, as shown in pictures.
Finished size will be approx. 9.06” (23 cm) long, 6.1” (15,5 cm) tall, 4.9” (12,5 cm) wide, crocheted using acrylic yarn (8 ply / DK), with hook size E (3.5 mm).
This pattern is also suitable for 8 ply / DK weight wool or cotton yarn. The single cab transporter in the pictures was made using Stylecraft Special DK.

Gauge: Rows: 5 sc = approx. 1” (2.5 cm) Continuous rounds: 5 sc = approx. 0.8” (2 cm)
Skill level: intermediate (for crocheting, as well as for joining / pinning / sewing parts together)

Note: This pattern is written for a tissue box according to the size stated at materials list. Make sure to have a similar sized tissue box before you start crocheting this pattern.

    the bumpers instructions don't make sense. it says to make a MC with 8 sts, and 34 continuous rows. this will make 2 large circles, not long bumpers. I'm not sure what to do here

      Hi! Thanks for your purchase and message.
      The bumpers will be tube shaped. Not flat, and not in rows.
      So, work 8 sc in a mc, then work in continuous rounds, all around those 8 sts, without increasing. That will result in a tube shaped piece. Give it another try, and I'm sure you'll get it right. :-)
