This PDF crochet tutorial consists of illustrated tutorial for crocheting baby & child socks with the pattern in knitted look for sizes from 0 months to approx. 5.5 years old. The cuff of the socks looks just like knitted. The socks can be crocheted in two or more colours or in one colour.

Note for the sl st: These socks are partly crocheted with the sl st. Crocheting with the sl st, crocheted either in BLO or in FLO, requires a little practice. Before you start crocheting, practise with an old thick wool (wool scraps). After a few exercises, crocheting with the sl st will work very quickly. Otherwise: crochet very loosely, take the crochet hook 0.5 to 1 size larger than recommended for your wool. I have shown how to crochet with sl st in the video (link in the pattern).
