With US 2.5 (3.0 mm) with p (WS) and k (RS) stitches
30 sts x 38 rnds = 4 x 4 inch (10 x 10 cm)

CO = cast on

k = knit

k3tog = knit three together (is a double decrease)

k2tog = knit two together

p = purl

rib = ribbing

RS = right side

yo = yarn over

sl 1 = slip one stitch

tbl = through back loop
