A warm hat with a cable pattern “Grace” for the whole family (in a knitted look)! This hat is easy to crochet. It takes about 4-5 hours to complete (depending on the size) and is a real eye-catcher with its large pom-pom (faux fur)! The hat has only one seam at the back and is crocheted around the head as one piece. This hat can be crocheted for both children and adults.
This PDF crochet pattern consists of illustrated tutorials for crocheting a hat with a cable pattern and sl st. The hat looks like it has been knitted. This hat can be crocheted in a sporty style or as slouchy banie. For the slouchy hat, crochet to a total length of 25 cm, for a normal hat (sporty hat) to a total length of 20 cm (explained in the pattern).
Attention! The beanie is crocheted partially with the sl st. Crocheting with the sl st, inserted either in the back loops only or in the front loops only of the previous row, requires a little practice. Before you start crocheting, practice crocheting with an old thick wool (wool scraps). After a few practices, crochet with sl st will work out very quickly. Otherwise, crochet very loosely, take the crochet hook 0.5 to 1 size larger than recommended for your wool. Otherwise, I explained crocheting with sl st in the video (link in the pattern).
