Beanie "Trio" (Knitted look, all sizes, links to videos)

This PDF crochet tutorial consists of illustrated tutorial for crocheting a beanie with three different relief patterns. The beanie looks like knitted and is crocheted from the bottom (from the cuff) to the top (to the tip). This beanie can be crocheted for children as well as for adults.

Tip: This hat is crocheted with the three different basic patterns. However, you can combine these three patterns differently (e.g. crochet the basic pattern #2 first and then # 1 and # 3 or the other way round). Or you can crochet the beanie from only one or from two patterns.

Attention. The beanie is crocheted partially with the sl st. Crocheting with the sl st, inserted either in the back loops only or in the front loops only of the previous row, requires a little practice. Before you start crocheting, practice crocheting with an old thick wool (wool scraps). After a few practices, crochet with sl st will work out very quickly. Otherwise, crochet very loosely, take the crochet hook 0.5 to 1 size larger than recommended for your wool.
