The PDF crochet tutorial consists of illustrated tutorials for crocheting a hat "Ice" with the honeycomb pattern. The hat is crocheted with the three different patterns: "camel stitch", crochet with sl st, honeycomb pattern. All three patterns are explained in the videos (links in the pattern). The honeycomb pattern is very warm and the hat can therefore be worn as a ski hat or winter hat.
This hat can be crocheted for both children and adults. You can crochet it either with the simple cuff or with the cuffs folded upwards. With this crochet pattern you can crochet a sports hat for your next skiing holiday in any size for you and your child (grandchild).
For the honeycomb pattern I have created a video with the explanation. The video is not publicly available and can be viewed with the link. The video has also been uploaded here at CP as an additional file to the PDF file. With this video, crocheting the honeycomb pattern works much faster and easier.
Attention! The beanie is crocheted partially (only the upper part) with the sl st. Crocheting with the sl st, inserted either in the back loops only or in the front loops only of the previous row, requires a little practice. Before you start crocheting, practice crocheting with an old thick wool (wool scraps). After a few practices, crochet with sl st will work out very quickly. Otherwise, crochet very loosely, take the crochet hook 0.5 to 1 size larger than recommended for your wool.

Die Maschenprobe kann mit Wolle 50g/80m und Häkelnnadel Nr.5 nicht stimmen. Auch wenn ich eine feinere Nadel nehme stimmt dann zwar die Breite - aber 26 Reihen werden immer höher als 10cm. Was mache ich falsch?
