Frogs are so cute and the Frog Tea Cosy knitting pattern is a lovely knitted tribute to frogs and they funny little ways.

I designed the frog to be in a sitting position, so his head is elevated and he's pushing up on his forelegs. His green webbed feet are super cute and they rest on the table as if he's ready to hop off in an emergency.

I love his eyes on top of his head. The eyes are set into humps and I have used yellow cat's safety eyes on the horizontal to give him froggy eyes.

He's a lovely tea cosy to knit and looks great with lots of realism. He's perfect for people who adore everything froggy.

The knitting pattern uses Stylecraft Special DK. The tea cosy is knitted with double thickness yarn to keep the teapot and the tea really hot.

The Frog tea cosy fits a medium sized tea pot that covers a Teapot that holds 6 to 8 cups or 2 pints.
