As the name suggests, pygmy seahorses are tiny. In nature they are at most 2 cm small. In order for us to be able to see the cute Serafin the pygmy seahorse better, it is magnified 10 times.

The pygmy seahorses stay all day long in their coral, well camouflaged with their nubs. In nature, pygmy seahorses often appear in white with red pimples, as in this manual. They are also available in yellow with orange pimples. When a pygmy seahorse child moves to a different colored coral in nature, it grows up in the color of the new coral. Isn't that incredible?

Components and Work Steps
Serafin the pygmy seahorse is crocheted in one piece. The first thing to start with is snorkeling. Continue crocheting the head, which goes over into the neck and body. The tail is strengthened with wire, so that it can be bent into the desired form. The red dots which are spread over the head, neck, body and tail are crocheted with red yarn with 5 and 3 puff stitches. The small bubbles, the large bubbles, the dorsal fin, the fin and the eyes are crocheted separately. They will be sewn to the body later.

The length of the pygmy seahorse is 20 cm. With a bent neck and curled up tail it is 15 cm. The Pygmy Seahorse is 9 cm wide at the broad part (from snorkel to dorsal fin) and 1 cm at the narrow part (tail).

Tolle Anleitung mit schönem Ergebnis 🤗
Die Anleitung ist sehr gut geschrieben, man sollte aber bereits Erfahrung haben. Es hat mir viel Spaß gemacht das Einhorn zu erarbeiten. Es war ein Geschenk für ein 4 jähriges Mädchen, dass sich sehr darüber gefreut hat.🦄🥰🦄
