Gigi the little elephant knitting pattern

Gigi is a little elephant soft and nice he likes to bathe but only with his duck ring. He likes to change his clothes often so he has three types of shorts: stripped shorts with brace, dungarees and stretch cotton shorts with brace.

This knitting pattern is easy to make, knitted back and forth on single pointed needles. If you know cast on/cast off, knit/purl, increase/decrease, change yarn color and seam the pieces it is the pattern for you.

The pattern includes: the elephant, the knitted stripped shorts with brace, the dungarees, stripped short with braces from a sock (free sewing pattern) and the duck swim ring.
The toy is suitable for children under 3, all pieces are seamed and has embroidery eyes (in the pattern are explained 4 ways to make the eyes: with sewed buttons, with adhesive plastic eyes, with adhesive black buttons and embroidery eyes)

The size of the elephant is about 9" (23cm.) The finished size depends on yarn and needles you use.

-approx.30 grams grey acrylic yarn sport/4 ply
-Few of white acrylic yarn (for the feet and hair)
-Soft polyester filling for toys or cushions
-Single point knitting needles 3.0 mm. (UK11/US3)
-Tapestry needle
-Pet comb (for the hair)
