Crochet pattern for a lying fawn with a flower wreath, about 27 x 17 cm / 11 x 7 inches. Instant download PDF in English and German.
Rosi is not a standing animal but a lying fawn with tucked-in legs – which makes her noticeably bigger than the usual amigurumi animals and a lovely decoration for a child's room.
Two things make her special: the flower wreath is made of nine single blossoms in three sizes and three colours, sewn together in alternating order. And the typical fawn spots are not crocheted but dabbed on at the end with white paint and a brush – this is explained in the pattern and is quicker than it looks.
The blossoms use a puff stitch. You don't need to know it beforehand, it is explained in the pattern right where it comes up.

You should be familiar with these stitches: chain, single crochet, slip stitch, half double crochet, magic circle as well as increasing and decreasing.
You do not need to know the puff stitch for the blossoms – it is explained in the pattern.
Every round is listed separately with its stitch count, and there are photos for the single steps. There is also sewing: head, ears, legs, belly, tail and the flower wreath are sewn on. At the end the spots are dabbed on with white paint.
The finished fawn will be about 27 x 17 cm / 11 x 7 inches.
