This easy to make, textured granny square is inspired by my other design, the Puffs and Hugs Baby Blanket, which is available on

The pattern is using puff stitches and front post stitches to create a nice, textured look.

I used DK yarn, but you can use any yarn and use as many colours as you want (I only changed colour for the last round)

• approx. 10 grams of any DK yarn desired
• Yarn needle for weaving in ends
• Scissors

I love the use of puff stitches to create the texture on this square and when used with contrasting or complimentary colours on alternate squares this creates a beautiful blanket.
