Note for the sl. st: This beanie is partly crocheted with the sl. st. Crocheting with the sl. st, crocheted either in the back loops only or in the front loops only, requires a little practice. Before you start crocheting, practice with an old thick wool (wool scraps). After a few exercises, crocheting with the sl. st will work very quickly.
