Collection *Socks in Winter*

A collection of sock patterns for the cold season, designed by Birgit Freyer!

The collection *Socks in Winter* consists of 6 instructions for winterly socks with pretty cabled and structured patterns. The collection comes with some workshops for knitting socks. The patterns are charted.

Please note: Instructions for heel and toe are not included; these are worked according to your preference, or according to the workshops in the second part of the collection.

The collection (a pdf file) contains 20 pages: the pattern part and several tutorials (workshops) about the used techniques.

Each pattern contains a picture of the finished socks, charts and explanations.
The tutorials contain pictures and explanations.

The level of difficulty is 2-3 (of 5).

• basic stitches: knit, purl, yarn over, increases and decreases

All used symbols are explained in detail.

The sizes of the single sock patterns range from 38 to 43 (US 7,5 to 11,5 / UK 5,5 to 9,5), but can be adapted to other sizes as well.

Yarn: 4ply / fingering / sockyarn (420 m / 459 yd per 100 g)
Needle size: 2.0 - 2.5 mm (US 0 - 1,5 / UK 14 - 13)
Yardage: as stated in each pattern
