Wrist Warmers and Fingerless Mitts with Celtic Cables, 2 knitting patterns

Product description

SCOTLAND - Greenish highlands with barren, rugged mountains, deep green valleys, lichen-covered rocks, heather fields and of course its million sheeps: this is where Cables and Celtic weave patterns have a long tradition.

The wrist warmers/fingerless mitts CLAIRE and HIGHLAND MITTS use the same cable pattern in different ways, once knit in rows as a braided pattern band, followed by a subtile structure pattern and once knitted in rounds as a central cable, flanked by a ribbing pattern, which ensures best fitting.

With this set of 2 instructions a total of 3 different models can be worked:

  • HIGHLAND MITTS with thumb gusset and double layered cuff, 2-colored, with a rustic character, also great for men!
  • HIGHLAND MITTS with a simple thumb opening and short cuffs, 1-colored, subtle and feminine
  • Gauntlets CLAIRE without a thumb opening, 1- or 2-colored and very feminine

The instructions are also available separately:

Sehr schöne Stulpen
Sehr gute Beschreibung.
