Louis, the Lucky Squirrel – Crochet Pattern

Meet Louis, an adventurous and lucky little Squirrel. Now that summer is almost over, he’ll have to prepare for winter and gather as many nuts and acorns he can get his hands, sorry paws on.
And those two big ones right here seem like a good start. But he’ll better hide them quickly before someone else might see them.

Size using the indicated yarn and crochet hook, Louis will be about 20 cm/ 8 inches tall (from his toes to the tip of his ears)

Difficulty Level: the pattern contains a detailed description for each step, accompanied by numerous pictures and several crochet charts making this patter suitable for skilled beginners with knowledge of the required basic crochet techniques

Stitches/ techniques used:
magic Ring, chain stitch, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet as well as increases and decreases and changing color

Material:

• Any type of yarn in the colors auburn (red-brown), yellow, orange and dark brown
• Crochet hook in matching size
• Safety eyes in brown or black
• Stuffing material
• Threading needle to sew in the ends, ca. 10 pins and a pair of scissors
