Gauge:
To get a reliable gauge for this project, it’ll be easiest to work one sole in the desired size as a test and then measure the length of it to see if it fits the standard measurements listed in the table below.

•  Any type of yarn, (4 ply, 120 yds / 1.75 oz or 110 m/ 50g) in the colors dark brown, light brown and white as well as a small amount of red
•  Crochet hook D-3 (3.0 mm) and G-6 (4.0 mm)
•  10-15 safety pins and several stitch markers
•  Threading needle to sew in the ends
•  Sewing thread in dark brown and red, a small sewing needle and a pair of scissors
