Scarf with lace edge knitting pattern "Poesia"

Poesia is a lightweight scarf, knitted on the bias, starting and ending with only few stitches. It is the perfect project to showcase that colorful sock yarn, but will work in a solid color as well. Worked mostly in stockinette stitch, it has some lace ridges on the side to gain interest.

Difficulty level: easy (stockinette stitch, yarn overs and easy decreases)

• k: knit
• p: purl
• sl: slip
• kfb: knit into the front and back of the stitch (1 stitch increased)
• yo: yarn over
• k2tog: knit 2 stitches together
• skp: slip 1 stitch, knit 1 stitch, pass slipped stitch over

Gauge: 24 stitches/30 rows in stockinette stitch = 10cm/4in.

17cm (6 3/4in) in width. Can be worked to any desired length.

Yarn: Steinbach Aktiv Effekt (75% wool, 25% nylon; 421m/100g; 460yds/3.53oz); 1 ball. Sample in a length of 200cm (80in) used 378m (414yds).
