Infinity Scarf Knitting Pattern "Arctic Calling"

Product description

"Arctic Calling" is a knitting pattern for an infinity scarf in bulky yarn. It is worked in the round and has a textured stitch pattern that runs diagonally across the cowl. It is an easy pattern almost suitable for knitting beginners. Basically all you need to know is knits and purls. The only part that might be a bit tricky is closing your work to the round without twisting it. Once you've got that done, it is a very rewarding knit with a quick result - a warm and beautiful cowl to wear next winter.

There are two samples shown in the pictures. The teal one was made out of Lana Grossa Olympia which is a super bulky wool and acrylic blend yarn with thicker and thinner parts that reinforce the textured impression of the pattern. The shorter one in lilac was made out of Lana Grossa Mille, a plied wool and acrylic yarn that is super bulky as well. Maybe you will notice that the overall appearance is different. Personally I like them both.

The pattern has been tested by several people to make sure it works the way it is written. Although Lana Grossa yarns seem to be available in Northern America as well, you may wish to substitute yarns. Other yarns that have been used successfully were Lion Brand Hometown USA and Caron Simply Soft in aran weight, just to give you an idea.

If you purchase the pattern, start knitting and (which I don't hope) get to a point where you don't know how to go on, my contact info is in the pattern. I am always happy to help. Please bear in mind that I sometimes need to sleep and don't spend all day on the internet. But I check my mails every day.

Please read below for more pattern details.
