Crochet pattern for a soccer ball pillow – an instant download PDF, in English and in German in one file.
A pillow in the shape of a soccer ball: white and black single pieces are sewn together into two half spheres, with a wide light green stripe running in between like the line on the pitch. Worked with thick yarn and a size 4 hook, so it grows quickly and stays soft enough to lie on. How the pieces are arranged and how the gaps between them are closed is described step by step and shown in photos.

in English and in German in one file
7 pages each, with step-by-step photos
only two basic pieces in white and black, plus the filler pieces and the edge
with gauge and a complete list of materials and tools
Photo note: The crocheted item is real and made by me. On some photos the background was AI-generated or digitally edited.
‼ If you run into any trouble or spot a mistake, it would be great if you contacted me before leaving a bad review – we will sort it out together! ‼
Worked in rounds and in rows.
You should know these stitches:
single crochet, chain, slip stitch, magic ring and increase.
That is all it takes – the pattern gets by with very few stitch types. Every round is written out separately with the stitch count at the end.
Gauge in half double crochet with a size 4 hook: 14 stitches × 18 rows = 10 × 10 cm.
Worked with a size 4 hook and yarn size 4–5.
