IMPORTANT: You are buying a PDF crochet pattern, NOT the finished shawl.
This pattern is included in English AND German – both PDF versions are part of the download.
A light triangular shawl in green that grows in rows out of a small chain ring. Groups of double crochets and chain loops form the open pattern, and at the end a tie is crocheted onto each side.
The same pattern gives you two sizes: the bandana with 26 rows (approx. 55 × 27 cm) and the hip scarf with 40 rows (approx. 85 × 43 cm), each measured without the ties. After the first six rows only two repeat rows come back again and again – so the shawl grows almost by itself.
Photo note: The crocheted item is real and made by me. On some photos the background was AI-generated or digitally edited.
If you run into any trouble, or if an error has slipped in somewhere: please message me FIRST before leaving a review – we will sort it out together!
Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet (US terms).
The pattern is a detailed step-by-step PDF with 12 photos. Every row is written out separately; the recurring repeat is additionally broken down into start, sections, centre and end.
Skill level: easy to intermediate – only four basic stitches, and after the first six rows the pattern repeats.
Bandana: approx. 55 × 27 cm (26 rows).
Hip scarf: approx. 85 × 43 cm (40 rows).
Both measured without the ties.
Gauge: 26 stitches × 24 rows = 10 × 10 cm (2.5 mm hook).
Used: Schöller & Stahl Limone, cotton yarn with 125 m per 50 g.
• For the bandana 100 g green (Farn, 203)
• For the hip scarf 150 g green (Farn, 203)
• Crochet hook 2.5 mm
• Darning needle
• Scissors
You are welcome to sell the finished shawls, as long as you add a note "Made from a pattern by Masche-fuer-Masche" together with a link.
The pattern itself may not be sold, given away, passed on, exchanged or published – not even in translated form.
You can download the pattern immediately after receipt of payment.
