A customer requested this lovely springbok. She wanted to give a very personal gift to a baby with African roots.
I was happy to fulfill her wish!
In the download, you’ll find an alphabet and numbers. This way, you can personalize your blanket with the baby’s name and, if you like, their birthday.
Or, instead of “African Spirit,” you can knit in a completely different text, for example, to create a wall hanging. Whatever you prefer!

The blanket is knitted using only knit and purl stitches. Every single stitch is written out. You’ll also find a chart in the download. This way, you can decide for yourself which method you prefer.
With a little patience, even slightly advanced knitters can complete it.
The size of the blanket depends on the yarn weight. The instructions include a detailed table listing yarn weights and yarn requirements.
