Size Information
Six sizes are available with a measurement reference table (Preemie, 0-3m, 3-6m, 6-12m, 1-2y, 3-5y).
Materials List
NEEDLES & NOTIONS:
5 mm (8 US) double pointed (DPNs) or circular needles. Use other needle sizes to obtain the gauge below if required.
Tapestry needle for weaving in the ends. Six stitch markers of which one in a different colour.
Optional: round counter.
YARN & GAUGE
Any worsted (aran/10 ply/weight 4) yarn with the gauge requirements of 16 stitches and 22 rows in 10 cm (4 in.) worked in stockinette stitch. The yarn should be around 90 meters (100 yards) per
50 grams. Original yarn is Drops Big Merino.
You will need approximately 45 (55) 70 (85) 95 (110) metres or 50 (60) 80 (95) 105 (120) yards of yarn in total for the hat in the selected size (see size guide below).

Ich stricke jetzt über 40 Jahre und fast immer nach einer Anleitung, aber so eine komplizierte Beschreibung hatte ich noch nie. Diese merkwürdige Verteilung der Maschen auf die verschiedenen Nadeln verstehe ich bis jetzt nicht. Ich habe die Schühchen fertiggestellt, aber es war harte Arbeit.
