knitting pattern: Snowflakes Scarf - Mini Scarf, Stola, Shawl, neck warmer

Product description

The Snowflakes family is growing with this beautiful Scarf! The Scarf is knit from tip to tip with steady increases until almost half of the yarn is used up. Then, the remaining shape of the shawl is worked with steady decreases. The choice of yarn determines the size of the finished piece.

The Snowflakes pattern with its diagonals is a real eye-catcher and thanks to the short repeat, you'll have this pattern memorized quickly. The striking slip-stitch edge is knit along with the scarf as you go. It's quick and easy and creates a wonderful, sophisticated look.

The idea of the design is to use approx. 100g of yarn. For size adjustments, more or less yarn will be needed accordingly. In principle, any yarn weight can be used, but this will of course affect the consumption and dimensions of the finished knitted piece.

Have fun knitting!

Skills Required / What You'll Receive

The child's model is knit as a mini scarf from 50g of DK yarn. This size is not described separately in the pattern. Adjust the yarn accordingly.

The gauge is not so important for the Scarf. However, feel free to knit a swatch following the pattern and decide if you like the stitch definition. You might then adjust the needle size.

My tip: a half to a full needle size larger will make the Scarf drape a bit softer and the Snowflakes pattern will be easier to knit.

Na ja!
Sieht eigentlich sehr schön aus. Mich hat nur gestört, dass man so oft die Zopfnadel benutzen muss.
