Denar Cowl, textured with braids, knitting pattern

The Denar Cowl, especially suitable for men, is inspired by the fictional character Denar, the friend of Ayane in the fairy fantasy book “Ayane und das Geheimnis der Glückselfen” by Ann-Cathrin May. There will be more books in the Glückselfen Saga.

This pattern contains a chart as well as a written pattern of the chart for every single round. The pattern is formed by the simple repeat of 4 rounds, which makes the cowl an easy knit, even for those who have never tried knitting a cable before.

Materials List

Materials:
Bobbel (yarn cake), pure merino, 4-ply, 550 m / 150 g; circular or DPN needles 3.5 mm (US4), 1 cable needle (cn); 1 stitch marker

Other yarn choices: for example sock yarn 6-ply (approx 200 g); or any other yarn that meets the gauge and yardage

Gauge: 10 x 10 cm, 4 x 4” (before blocking)
25 stitches and 46 rows

Tolles Design, gute Anleitung
Diese Anleitung muss man sich genau durchlesen und exakt das stricken, was steht. Im Laufe der Zeit kommt man aber gut rein. Musste 2x ribbeln

Beeindruckend
Der Anleitung konnte man sehr einfach folgen. Es ist ein wunderschönes Tuch geworden. Leider kann ich es nicht zeigen, weil es mir meine beste Freundin sofort abgeluchst hat. Aber ich stricke noch ein zweites für mich.

Endlich mal eine Anleitung die knapp, präzise und super einfach nachzuarbeiten ist. Keine langatmigen, überflüssigen Formulierungen und unnütze Anmerkungen, welche nur Verwirrung verursachen. Dazu noch umweltfreundlich, weil Papier-, Tinte- und Platz sparend. Wünschte mir mehr Anleitungen dieser Art. Weiter so.😄
