Suntrap - Scarf and Stole, Lace and cable combined

Suntrap is an airy combination of lace and cable patterns. The special edging stitches (described in detail) ensure that the zigzag edge keeps its shape and does not get floppy.

Suntrap can be knit as an airy scarf, but contains instructions for a wider stole as well.

You get a professional chart as well as a written pattern.
Every stitch is described in a detailed legend.

Scarf 1: 24 x 155 cm / 9 ½ x 61”
Scarf 2: 35 x 183 cm / 13 ¾ x 72”
or any desired size

Materials:
Scarf 1 (yellow): 100 g Lana Grossa Cool Merino superfein (160 m/50 g), circular needles 5 mm (US8), 1 cable needle

Scarf 2 (yelloworange): 150 g sock yarn 6-ply (420 m/150 g), circular needles 5.5 mm (US9), 1 cable needle

or: any other desired yarn. The pattern is also suited for lace yarn. The needle size should be about 3 sizes bigger than that recommended for your yarn.

Gauge:
(10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4”over pattern, after blocking)
Scarf 1: 21 stitches and 32 rows
Scarf 2: 19 stitches and 30 rows
