Knitting Pattern | NAMI Top Light | XXS - 2XL

The NAMI Top Light is the lightest summer top – perfect for warm days, breezy outfits at the beach, or a stroll through the city.
It is knitted seamlessly from the top down, allowing you to customize the length to your preference. The simple, clean design, worked mostly in stockinette stitch, makes it a relaxed project – ideal for in between or as a meditative knitting experience.
The suggested yarn for the NAMI Top Light is ANANAS (worsted weight). The fit is close to the body with a recommended negative ease of about –5 to –10 cm, giving the top a snug but comfortable silhouette.

The name NAMI comes from Japanese and means “wave” – a small tribute to my deep love for Japanese culture.

This pattern is well-suited for confident beginners with some knitting experience. All techniques used are supported with video links and QR codes (end of pattern).
k = knit
k2tog tbl = Knit 2 stitches together through the back loops
kfb = knit front and back, first through the front loop, then through the back loop
 increases one stitch.
m1l = make 1 left: insert the left needle from front to back into the horizontal strand between stitches. Knit the resulting loop through the back loop (twisted).
m1r = make 1 right: insert the left needle from back to front into the horizontal strand between stitches. Knit the resulting loop normally.
p = purl
sl1 wyib = Slip stitch knitwise with yarn in back
